About The Blog

There’s nothing wrong with putting your thoughts out there.   Either you are sane or insane.

Share your thoughts.

Mulling: To think deeply about a subject or question over a period of time. I tried choosing another word to represent my blog: “thought,” ”belief,” “rumination,” “contemplation,” But they were all taken.

The purpose of my blog is to share my thoughts and my beliefs. Not that my thoughts are special. But you never know. Maybe, just maybe, I have a particular insight that puts a concept in a perspective that makes it a little easier for others to understand, and maybe come up with a few thoughts on their own.

Contained herein are thoughts on weather, religion, politics, and any other thoughts that may strike me as worthy to share. They are framed within what we know from science and speculate from scientific theory. I update, modify, and (hopefully) improve periodically, and my thoughts are evolving, so please be sure to check back.

My first thought is that the prophets were the thinkers of their time who weren’t afraid to share their thoughts. Some turned out to be crazy, and some turned out to be right. Those who were right were the true prophets, and were inspired by God. By no means am I purporting or inspiring to be a prophet.

And what about the other great thinkers of previous times: Aristotle, Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Einstein, Freud? They had one thing in common.  They were free, for the most part, to think about things that were, up to that time, mysteries, and relegated to the realm of the supernatural.

Aristotle (talking to himself):  “The sun is round, maybe even spherical.  Why can’t the earth be spherical too?”

Galileo (talking to himself):  “I believe the earth is spherical.  I see the sun rise from the east in the morning and fall to the west in the evening.  Everyone thinks it’s because the sun revolves around the earth.  Why can’t it be the other way around?  Boy the Pope isn’t going to like this.”

Were these guys the prophets of their times?  Where are the thinkers now? Just because they had more of these things to think about doesn’t mean they were smarter than us or that we can’t think and question the same way now. Could there be the obscure among us who also have thoughts about our world that may turn out to be revealing?  I’m not saying I’m that guy.  But I am willing to put my thoughts out there just in case.

Again, these are just my thoughts. People may agree or disagree. They might think I’m crazy, or they might think I have some good points. I share my thoughts freely without conscience as to the reliability of their source; some I just remember from somewhere or just came up with, some I remember from my studies, some from internet search engines. If you want to check the accuracy of my information, please do an internet search. And if you want to weigh in that’s no problem either.

Whether you like or dislike my thoughts, please share my domain.
